What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapy (OT) helps people of all ages participate more fully in everyday life. At Ergo Therapy Group, we provide mobile, in-home occupational therapy to support individuals in achieving their goals and independence. Our therapists work with people living with a wide range of disabilities, illnesses, and injuries, helping reduce isolation and improve quality of life and relationships.
Who do we work with?
We work with participants of all ages and with all types of disabilities. Our services are available to people funded through the NDIS, Home Care Packages (HCP), and private paying clients. We provide mobile, in-home occupational therapy across Melbourne and Western Sydney.
What does Ergo Therapy mean?
“Ergo” comes from the Greek word for work or activity, which is the root of the term occupational therapy. Our name reflects both the meaning of therapy and our founder’s Greek heritage.
Where are you located?
We offer mobile, in-home occupational therapy across Melbourne and Western Sydney. If you’re unsure whether we service your area, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to confirm availability.
Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?
Our occupational therapists work Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, so appointments are available during standard weekday hours.
Do you need a doctors referral?
No referral is needed—just fill out our referral form and we’ll help you get started right away.
Is funding accepted?
Yes. We accept NDIS and Home Care Package (HCP) funding, and also offer private pay options.
Do you offer in-home, clinic-based, school-based, or virtual services?
We provide mobile occupational therapy in clients’ homes or at schools (where permitted). We also offer virtual telehealth appointments, and clients are welcome to use our office space if needed, although we do not operate a full clinic.
Do you offer evaluations only, or ongoing therapy as well?
We provide both initial evaluations and ongoing therapy, supporting clients every step of the way toward their goals.
