At Ergo Therapy Group, we are committed to helping our participants achieve their goals and independence through in home occupational therapy. We work with participants of all ages and are qualified to care for those who are dealing with a range of disabilities, illnesses, and injuries. Living with these conditions can feel isolating, especially if you believe they are affecting your quality of living or relationships.
Likewise, supporting someone with full-time care is a highly challenging endeavour, as you must balance their needs with your own. That’s why our in home occupational therapists are here to help by taking the burden off you and your loved ones. We come to you to ensure you always feel comfortable within your own home as we provide occupational therapy to help you reach your full potential in life.
How In Home Occupational Therapy Works
We organise an initial consultation with all our prospective participants to learn more about you and the services you require, as well as what you hope to achieve through occupational therapy. From there we develop an individualised occupational therapy report to help you reach your goals and needs.
This treatment plan is devised through collaboration between you and our in home occupational therapists, as well as the relevant professionals, caregivers, and family members. Once both parties agree to a suitable plan for care, treatment can begin.
NDIS and Home Care Packages
We offer a range of services funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Home Care Packages scheme. Through NDIS, our in home occupational therapists are able to provide care and support for those living with disabilities, as well as their families and caregivers. The Home Care Packages scheme is designed to help elderly Australians and those that are Aboriginal/Torres Straight Islander to maintain independent living in the community and at home.
