Our Western Sydney team provides in-home occupational therapy across Liverpool and surrounding suburbs. We have urgent availability for new referrals and work with NDIS participants, Home Care Package recipients, and private paying participants.

How In-Home OT Works in Western Sydney

Our occupational therapists travel to participants' homes across Western Sydney. The benefit of in-home OT is that we get to see and address the participant's real environment - the kitchen they cook in, the bathroom they navigate, the front steps that may be a falls risk. This makes home modification recommendations and assistive technology trials genuinely useful rather than theoretical.

For initial assessments we typically schedule a 60-90 minute home visit, during which we review goals, assess functional capacity, and identify any immediate safety or accessibility priorities. Ongoing therapy sessions are usually 45-60 minutes, scheduled weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on the participant's plan and goals.

Funding Pathways for Western Sydney Participants

We work with NDIS participants (self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed), Home Care Package recipients (Levels 1-4), and private paying participants. No GP referral is required to access occupational therapy under the NDIS or Home Care Packages, so the quickest path to getting started is the referral form on our website. For Home Care Package participants, we coordinate with your package provider to align services and reporting.

For participants outside our in-home travel radius in Western Sydney, telehealth occupational therapy is also available across both states.
