Our occupational therapists are available across the south-eastern corridor of Melbourne, providing in-home therapy to participants of all ages. We have urgent availability for new referrals across the south-east, including Frankston, the Mornington Peninsula, and bayside suburbs.

How In-Home OT Works in South-East Melbourne

Our occupational therapists travel to participants' homes across South-East Melbourne. The benefit of in-home OT is that we get to see and address the participant's real environment - the kitchen they cook in, the bathroom they navigate, the front steps that may be a falls risk. This makes home modification recommendations and assistive technology trials genuinely useful rather than theoretical.

For initial assessments we typically schedule a 60-90 minute home visit, during which we review goals, assess functional capacity, and identify any immediate safety or accessibility priorities. Ongoing therapy sessions are usually 45-60 minutes, scheduled weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on the participant's plan and goals.

Funding Pathways for South-East Melbourne Participants

We work with NDIS participants (self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed), Home Care Package recipients (Levels 1-4), and private paying participants. No GP referral is required to access occupational therapy under the NDIS or Home Care Packages, so the quickest path to getting started is the referral form on our website. For Home Care Package participants, we coordinate with your package provider to align services and reporting.

For participants outside our in-home travel radius in South-East Melbourne, telehealth occupational therapy is also available across both states.
